Yeah, they started out just sitting in the top of the stands, minding their own business. People were kinda starting to whisper and point, and they were just watching the game. The Skipper was walking around talking to everybody, like he does this every day, no big deal. Good peeps.

I love it when celebrities like this understand that even just a little bit of their time, and attention can mean so much to other people. With little acts they can influence people to believe in themselves.

Nola, Katz, and Rimes (at least, I'm pretty sure it was those three) came out for the final game last season. They signed a baseball for him and took pics. I'll have to see if I can find it...

The entire Lady Tigers softball team came out last year and took over as helpers (each kid gets one, to help them field balls and run bases or whatever).

A few weeks ago, a former Lady Tigers pitcher was our guest pitcher for a game. She hung out afterward.

Oh, and Ryan Theriot and a couple of other alumni that are in the majors now came out last year, as well...after their seasons were over.

The kids love it!
