  4. None of the state schools have any early commitments (2006) listed for basketball yet.

    In the 2005 class:

LSU had 6 commitments and averaged 3.5 stars per commitment

ULL had 2 commitments and averaged 1 star per commitment

ULM had 7 commitments and none were ranked

Tulane had 2 commitments and averaged 3-stars

UNO had 3 commitments and none were ranked

  7. LSU! LSU! :yelwink2: Thanks for the information. I see what you mean- The Tigers had a great recruiting year in 2005. Tulane and ULL did prety well themselves. I would have liked for Brandon Bass to have stayed this year. He sure would have been a dominant player for the Tigers and could have been just what they needed to reach another level. But I have confidence that they will do just fine this year. :yelwink2: :yelwink2: Thanks again.
  8. Yeah. Who wouldn't?

If Bass were still with the team, we would be looking at a pre-season top 10 spot.

I think what we're lacking is depth at the point position and a few more players that can shoot from the outside. We're going to be ok down low, no question (but could have been GREAT with Bass).

I would say that another trip to the NCAA tourny is do-able again, but unless our play at the #1 guard spot gets better, we might be in for yet another early exit.
