...vs Buffalo due to toe/ankle, per ESPN ticker. He get roughed up a bit?

AFAIK his ankle was gimpy prior to the game. No reason to aggravate it vs. Buffalo.

The shank was the most I could ask for without getting the W. It was PERFECT that he'd miss it, if only Auburn would have lost on a FG again this season. . .

I'd rather win on lucky field goal misses than have the game handed to me.

When he missed that kick I jumped for joy. The refs missed an unsportsmanlike conduct call on LSU after that kick because one of our players patted Vaughn's helmet after the miss as if saying, "Thanks, man."

LSU has been playing some hard hitting football this season. Watching other games there is no comparison with the way we lay out people. Especially Landry. That guy is crazy.

I was sitting at the game w/my brother and said he is going to miss it. We call the 05 LSU/Auburn game the Doink game. When he missed, we both yelled Doink. It was awesome. The Auburn fans had a collective OOOOOOh at the same time.

I would have preferred a win as well but that was a highlight for sure.

That's scary that the dude was a little gimpy and still did what he did against our defense.

I'm still in awe of that game, as far as being one of the best defensive games I think I've ever seen.

Aside from last year when Irons rushed for a couple of miles against us, I think we've held our own against the monsters of the AU backfield. That, in and of itself is impressive considering the talent they've pumped out.
