Doctors told Tubs to wear glasses to hold up his ears....they were getting so heavy.......if you look closely, the glasses are actually stapled to his head....and you can't see this, but the back end of his glasses are glued to his ears.
Holtz made promises to a recruit no longer at usc that put Irons on the bench. Let's say Kenny's attitude wasn't the best, so usc had no problem letting Kenny go. At AU he was goofing it up, until his Dad explained to him about last chances and playing in the NFL. Seems he grew up and learned to listen.
Whatever happened it happened in a big way. There is not a person on this planet that would have said it would be so easy to replace caddy and brown but Irons is getting the job done.
