What's the matter Kevin? You couldn't put a 2 1/2# weight on each side & make it an even 750#'s on your squat. I'm truly dissapointed. Got this from the Advocate this morning. "Steltz bench pressed 605 pounds over the summer, and has a personal best squat of 745 pounds. No other LSU player has broken the 600-pound bench mark, or squatted even over 700 pounds."
The fact that he is so short makes it easier on him for the lifts. It's hard for those big linemen with long arms and legs...Steltz is made for powerlifting.
I remember in the summer of 03 he was benching 500. Tommys got him lifting an extra hundred in two years, nice.
If football after LSU does not pan out for him, he has a definite future in World's Stongest Man competitions. I'm sure he could flip an old VW bug about 20 times or throw a keg 30 ft in the air.
