Just read that article as well. Looks like we got a little bit of good news after all? By that time table, looks as though he could come back as early as the week after we play the Vols, or by mid-October.

    Good news indeed.

However, the injury bug seems to be hitting our team pretty badly. That can derail many a good season. Just look at UGA in '03.

2 injuries. A team that can't take two injuries is not much of a team. We lost 2 good players. That is bad but far from the problems uga had.

yeah, all it means is that someone will have to step up....look back at 2003 when our 2 starting RB's went down mid-season, it didn't look too good at that point and look what happened. On a team with talent like we have, someone is just itching to get their shot.

Well unfortunately, we aren't very deep at LB like we are at virtually every other position. Hopefully, the rest of the corp stays intact. Sucks. I was looking for E.J. to have a breakout year.

The Tigs have three very, very good LB's to turn to in Highsmith, Sanders, and Spadoni, This too shall Pass. I am going to say it now. With Korte and Hester in on short yardage plays with this O-Line, Opposing Ds' will still have to play honest on short yardage, While Addai, Carey, and Vincent shine on most other plays. CLM may not have been Looking for an every down Alley, but I'm pretty damn sure he found a third down one in Korte and Hester.

TIGS WILL POUNCE ON ANYTHING IN THEIR WAY!!!

Spadoni? He just got moved to LB. I doubt he'll be ready for SEC competition this year.

Spadoni is a senior & this year is his last. He's a hard-nosed hitter (letterman) out of John Curtis that can play.

    Excerpt:
Junior Jason Spadoni, a converted running back in his first collegiate season on the defensive side of the ball, has been the No. 2 weak-side linebacker on LSU's depth chart. Earlier this month LSU defensive coordinator Bo Pelini confirmed Spadoni's place in line and said he made good progress learning the defense in the spring and early in preseason practices.

Pelini has the following guys to make his depth chart at Linebacker. You have 7 good linebackers to play three spots (including freshman Al Jones & Darry Beckwith).

Seniors (3 left after Kuale) Cam Vaughn, 6'4" 230 Sr, Ken Hollis, 6'0" 235 Sr, Jason Spadoni, 6’0” 210 Sr

    Sophs (3) Ali Highsmith, 6'1" 225 So, Luke Sanders, 6'4" 230 So, Dom Cooper, 6'4" 225 So

    RS Freshman & freshman (4) Quinn Johnson, 6'3" 230 RSF, Al Jones, 6'3" 240 FR, Darry Beckwith, 6’1” Fr 225, Harry Coleman, 6’3” 210
