ACC/SEC??? What an insult comparing our backs to a conference who's highest ranked team was at 18 when our backs ran against stout defenses -three top ten teams, 4 top 15. The ACC sucked last year. Two top teams from each side, look what happened in the bowl games: Wake Forest (11-3, 6-2 conf) lost to Louisville 13-24, BC (10-3, 5-3 conf) beat NAVY 25-24. VT (10-3, 6-2 conf) lost to a struggling Georgia team 24-31, Georgia Tech(9-5, 7-1 conf) lost to W. Virginia 35-38. Not to mention the fact that they've only seen a snapshot of KW, and RM has to be the best kept secret in college football. :thumb:
VT kinda worries me, they'll come ready to play and will be prepared, but Ore's going to meet the best defense he'll see all season too. :thumb:
I love a slobberknocker as much as anyone, but VT worries me solely because when they played AU in the Sugar Bowl I had never seen a college team that played so outside the rules. They weren't playing football, they were trying to hurt and maim. A late, late hit was the best behavior. I finally lost all respect for the program after seeing so many attempts to eye gouge. May not be the PC thing to say, but that program was the worst I have ever seen.
Yeah but we're also meeting(possibly) the best defense we'll see all year. I expect this to be like last years LSU-AU game(hopefully without the bad calls)
