Not a Buffalo fan, but it is the best game on in my area of Upstate New York. Kyle Williams is having a monster day so far. He is still one of my favorite Tigers!
Kind of a forgotten player when you compare him to some of the other defensive linemen we've produced over the last 10-12 years, but he's been the best NFL d-linemen we've produced since Henry Thomas.
I live in Galway, about 2 hours away. We are closer to Saratoga Springs. I am all in for the game next year against Syracuse. I think that is about 20 miles from Oswego? I will be booking rooms for my Krewe in a couple of weeks once it is inside of a year. Tickets will be an issue, but I am sure we will work it out. Hopefully you will come up for the game as well. I think they will be shocked when we take over the town!
I think Williams had an underrated career here at LSU. He started as a true Freshman on the national title team. He picked up as the DL stud when Lavalais left. Despite not having the hype of Spears, Lavalais, Dorsey, Jackson, etc he has been the best of the group.
Williams always shared ink with Claude Wroten, who was also good enough to keep Glenn Dorsey on the second team.
It's been a long time since I've been up that way. It would be fun to go up and stay with my cousin in Oswego and make it to the game. May have to start on a plan to go.
