La Tech having to market home game vs Miami

    As an LSU fan and not an La Tech fan at all I'd think about going to that game just to see Miami.

    Why on Earth would Miami agree to travel to Shreveport for that game? Nothing positive can come from it. If they win big, then so what? They were supposed to. If the unthinkable happens, then the season is just about shot in terms of a national championship.

    Why would Miami travel to LA Tech? Probably because Miami has such poor fan support they may actually lose money against pansies at home. Seven home games is probably not as important to them... :)

    "While Oakes and Tech should be applauded for their marketing efforts, it is a sad commentary on Shreveport-Bossier City sports fans that this game needs that kind of an effort."

    There was some a-hole LSU fan on the Tech board saying that he is trying to talk all his LSU buddies out of going to the game. Now THAT is sad!

    And now there is some a-hole Tech fan on the LSU board thinking that we give a rat's a-hole. Now THAT is pathetic! Anyway, any True LSU fan would not go to that game. They would need to get to Baton Rouge on Thursday night to start drinking in preparation of the Saturday game for LSU. ;)

    Unlike LA Tech, we have more than one board and that LSU fan probably came from one of the others...
