What a pitchers duel. After watching the SE finals last week and then seeing the SW finals I was worried about Lake Charles pitching. But normalcy rules tonight. The Georgia team had a guy throwing 78, 79,80 in the SE finals and that is amazingly fast for little league.
All the games except the blowout of Russia have been great. The LLWS is an amazing testimonial to the power of volunteers. They showed the concession prices yesterday and everything is less than $2 save for the $5 150 page color program. And admission is free. The ESPN money, I suppose, has helped them a lot. Nevertheless, the whole event seems to be very well done. I'd like to see it someday.:thumb: Lake Charles plays Beaverton, Oregon today at 2pm on ESPN. And it's HD.....allsome.
Thanks I don't really like watching any baseball other than LSU but my wife and I enjoy a game yesterday. Georgia vs. NY I think.
they are getting thier ass whipped right now 6-0. top of 3rd. need to step it up as if they win this game they are almost guarenteed a semifinal birth.
