Exactly. It's like a seeing a place rocked by a Tsunami makes you appreciate that you are not in the same boat (although it might be safer in a boat with a Tsunami) and count the eggs you have. That makes me hope Miles can right the ship in terms of the LSU offense!
I have no idea what kitten has but it must be great. The man just keeps getting these jobs without any sucess as a coach.
I think USC did it to try to save THEIR recruiting class for this year. At Saturday's AAA game three 5 star recruits backed off of their USC commitment because they didn't know what was going on at USC and when they called the assistant coaches even they didn't know. But as you say, hiring guys who are being investigated for recruiting violations doesn't seem like a smart move or one that they really thought through.:insane: Now we have yet another reason to dislike USC.
i would have liked to have seen his choice had his damn strong team not been slated to play in the NC game. i have to think short of that he would've gone. home is home, but a chance to win a nc might supercede that. if i'm short changing him than i apologize but i don't know that miles was acting out of complete unwavering loyalty and realized both the opportunity to win a crstal ball coupled with the horrific timing of an open mich job.
Well, consider this. At the time that happened, it was pretty much accepted that even if we won the SECCG, there was less than a snowball's chance in hell we go to the big dance.. I can't believe Miles turned down Michigan just because he had the inside track on LSU "goin to da 'ship"... NOBODY thought the stars would align like that.
Me too! Been grinning all day. I haven't had this much fun since that stretch in '07/'08 when WV helped us into the BCSCG and Ohio State just melted down during the actual championship game when we started to come back.
