I remember running into Robert Lane a couple of times at Lod Cook during his senior year at Neville. He was all purple and gold LSU at that time, but then switched to Ole Miss when LSU got commits from Russell and Flynn. Obviously our previous coaching staff knew what it was doing in basically letting him go to Ole Miss. Lane hasn't been able to overtake Ethan Flatt or Michael Spurlock, and now has been moved to FB. No way he'd beaten out Russell or Flynn.
