This my last post on Brady for the remainder of the season. I support him because he came to LSU when they were at the bottom of the trashpile that is college Basketball. He recruited well and even got the Tigers to the sweet 16 providing a lot of excitement at LSU when none was expected. He has put competitive teams on the floor while dealing with scholarship restrictions. This is his first year free of sanctions and, until Lloreda bolted, the team was as good as any in the league, save KY and MSU. He's shown he can coach. Look at the season ending run last year. LSU will field a decent team next year and that will be enough to get me through the end of football and into the baseball season. If you hate Brady, fine. I don't.
I agree with all of the above. I'll reserve judgement on Brady until after next year. He'll have a full deck and they MUST get in the tourney. I think a lot of LSU fans just have a hard time getting past his mannerisms and personality towards the media. As far as I know, he has done nothing off the court to embarrass LSU so he has my full support at this time.
Totally buuurnt out on the Brady talk. All of the posts and threads are now re-worded phrases and statements of the last 2 months. John Brady will be your coach next year. Like it or not, support the team and/or Brady or not. Go to the games or not, rant and rave or not, this team will be better next year, and when they are, only a couple posters here who have a true personal hate that has nothing to do with winning or losing will be left, and they will still be posting negative about the coach although their will be few. The rest of you bashers will be on the wagon. The ones with the personal hatred for the coach will be eaten up inside and continue to lose sleep over it till he is gone. Lighten up, Brady hate novel writers, it aint that bad.
Funny how the people who are on the other side of the fence have "personal hatred" and are eaten up inside...I get a kick out of that...I haven't been on the board in the heat of this cow-dung-esque like brick that he laid coming down the stretch... Or how you all didn't bat an eye as he whored himself-and the LSU program-out for short term success by allowing Lloreda back on the team after his antics off the court...You all loved the success he was having-built upon the back of a guy you all KNEW was a thug-and crowed about how it was proof that he belonged... Now the wolves are howling louder than they EVER have before...and you're still drinking the Kool-Aid, and tossing out things like "people losing sleep" because of "personal hatred"...Gimme a break... Someone does not agree with your lockstep viewpiont, and they back it up just as consistently and competently as you do (or a little more, in most cases), and they must have "personal hate"? We are "eaten up inside"? You take it WAY too seriously. The guys a bum, and he's ruining a program, but he's far from making me lose sleep...
I wonder if brady had kicked lloreda off the team then LSU posts a 10-19 record or so how nice that would have gone over. i bet the fans would have understood and said, gee coach we agree with your moral high ground and what is best in the long run for this team. It is kinda funny to imagine anyhow.
