How times have changed. I remember a defensive lineman, Verlon Biggs, picked up George Blanda who was almost fifty years old and body slammed him to the turf. Blanda was the field goal kicker and backup quarterback at the time for the Oakland Raiders, when they were a power. That was standard play back then.

Gee Whiz. I thought the tackle was text book.

He shouldn't have hit poor widdle Mcnabb.

The sad part is I would bet Donovan doesn't agree with the fine.

It'sjsut more from the officials from the No Fun League.

It looked like Lavalais led with his helmet, thus the fine.

Absolute garbage. It's freaking football. It's one thing if you lead with your helmet AT ANOTHER GUY'S HELMET! But in the chest? Unreal. It's bad technique, but you shouldn't get fined.

Hell, the NFL should give him a bonus for potentially taking out the biggest choke artist in the league.

Good job Lavalais. $7500 is a small price to pay to let the opposition know you have arrived and are ready to kick a$$.:thumb:

    From that article:
Even if it meant winning the Super Bowl apparently, since the shots in that game kept him on the field, but rendered him a complete coward and a shell of a concious QB.
