    LSU linebacker Dominic Cooper transfers

Buried in the Times Picayune article on Xavier Carter was this note about Dominic Cooper transferring. What the deal? Stuck in third string and wanted more PT? Too small for the SEC?

Interesting point. Maybe the LB corp is a little bit better than we think?

How do you edit the title of a thread? I did edit, advanced options, and changed the spelling to thinner - but it isn't showing up on the thread title...

Anyway, this is the second or third LB we've lost since last year. We have some talent at the top, but it has to be pretty thin there now. What's the depth chart for LB look like? Anybody know?

Atleast it looks like all of our LB recruits qualified and will be eligible to play in the fall, because we may be needing them.

I think Beckwith is gonna be a stud. We have Highsmith, already proven. Sanders, I'm not sold on 100% yet, but if he turns out ok our starters will be strong. We just have a serius lack of depth.

Charles Scott may see some playing time at LB. Anyone know if Troy Giddens will qualify?

Rahim Akil Alem, while probably still deep in the doghouse, could play as well.

Ace Foyil may challenge for a starting position at MLB. He's on the roster (Tulane transfer).

Kelvin Sheppard and Riley may see playing time if Sanders can't get over the injury bug as well.
