Leaning away from Butch Davis

    and more towards Tedford after reading some stuff on him. That guys sounds like a solid coach, recruiter. I wouldn't have a problem with Davis but I like Tedford's ability and bio.

    My list to at least contact would be:

    Tedford
    Davis
    Shanahan
    Petrino maybe. I'm still not high on him
    Gregg Williams from the NFL.
    Ferentz....this is my choice overall but don't know if he'd leave Iowa.

    Tedford will be in the NFL in 3 years, if we get him we'll go through this every single year.

    Tedford wants the 49'ers job and is NFL bound.

    He also signed a Cal-extension
