CFN: You've seen LSU play. How would you have handled the blitzing style of defense they'd throw at you?

ML: I think the Pac 10 doesn't get a lot of recognition for how good the defenses are and I did see some good blitzing teams last year. Washington State was a really good defense. Cal had a good defense. I think the thing about LSU is that they looked really fast. We wouldn't change for them, we would've used our speed to play our game. We're fast too.

The reason the PAC-10 doesn't get any recognition for their defenses is cuz they all suck/they don't deserve any. ML is a moron....he would get buried if he played against us....just like the holy invincible Sooner "saviour" Jason White did in the Sugar Bowl....

Leinart genuinely believes Pac-10 defenses are good because he's never seen or faced a great defense before. So to him, they are good.

    For shame ...

but you know he's faced those stalwart Big-10 Killing Machines :dis:

Swerved It appears my hypocrisy knows no bounds.

Ya know, it's easy for the star QB's to take LSU lightly when they haven't lined up against them... ML should read what David Greene, Jason White, or Eli Manning had to say about them AFTER they met them up close and personal like....

    Geaux Tigers!!

I would have a better chance of beating Michael Jordan in a game of one on one or beating Tiger Woods in a game of golf than that idiot would have against the LSU defense.

Yeah, but they're not him, though (tongue planted firmly in cheek).

I really want a shot at drilling this assclown.

USC's speed was mostly on defense too, so that wouldn't have helped their O last year. Williams used his size more than his speed. Colbert was fast but not as fast as Clayton of OU or Gibson at UGA. Bush is the fastest guy on USC's offense so he may have presented a problem coming out of the backfield. Like others have said, he just doesn't know what he would have been facing. LA tech's coach said we looked fast on film but were much faster in person, faster even than Miami, and they were really fast.

    USC's Defensive Stats are Myth

They have good Rush Defense stats because they're in the PAC-10

Their pass Dee stats are terrible ... nothing but HYPE ... and cupcakes

let 'em face an LSU or even a team like Miami with speed.
