q: "Coach - have you ever been around this much talent before?" a: "Yes I've been around this much talent before and we won the Eastern division title with the Cowboys....the Dallas Cowboys." q: (inaudible) a: "Can you repeat the question I don't think I heard it. I was having too much fun listening to my answer" :hihi:
Let 'er rip Les. Damn, he got me fired up to the point where I want to run a couple of 40's and round up some of my coworkers for some Oklahoma drills. On second thought, I think I'll chill and watch the NC game tonight to get my fix
Talks of how there is a "passion" that's "fundamental" among LSU fans. Says LSU will use "several personnel groups"---lots of both 2-back and 1-back sets. One back, eh? One back, 4 or (no back-?) 5 wide (speculative on my part)...Jimbo and Les are gonna do some damage this year. "If there is a...segment of our offense where one of the QBs can give us an advantage", then he may add another QB "into the mix". There you have it, ladies and gents. Like I've said all along, look for a special "Perrilloux Package" of plays and a little #11 action on occasion during the season.
Transcripts are now up for Williams and Addai. http://www.secsports.com/index.php?change_well_id=2&url_article_id=5986#lsu
LES MILES: Here's three spots where the cupboard needs a little improvement for us to do the things that we need to accomplish. One of them is on offense, one of them is on defense and one is special teams. :hihi: Love that answer!
I love Les Miles man. I love those coaches that have that passion for the game. He seems genuinely happy to be here. He's still soemwhat new to it and it makes it better. In a few years if he's been winning, maybe he'll get an ego and wont be as much fun, but for right now this guy is awesome. He's like a kid in the candy store. Let r rip... Whats the over under on Miles shedding some tears this year?
