It's official.......I am now on the Miles' bandwagon. That was as good a coaching performance you will ever see in the SB the other night. For the second year in a row, Miles had the team WELL prepared for the bowl game. I loved the aggressive play-calling. He and Fisher used the pass to set up the run beautifully. Miles pretty much said, with the play-calling, that we're gonna whip your A$$ and there's nothin you (ND) can do about it. LSU gave up some yds in the first half, but true to form, Miles/Pelini made the adjusments at half and shut down the mighty quinn and co. the rest of the way.

As i've said before, I think the UT game was the turning point for Miles, IMHO. I think he understands what the SEC is all about, unlike the little 12 or the big least. Along with the UT game, I think the Ole Piss game was a learning experience for Miles as well. You have to have your team prepared for each and every game in the SEC. Anyone can jump up and bite you in the A$$.

Plus JR had his best game as a tiger. That's good for him, but bad for us tiger fans. Now he's gone to the NFL. I hope he as a great career. He deserves it.....great kid!

But things look good for LSU. Miles has and is proving he is a great recruiter. After snabbing RP when he first got here, he had a top ten class in his first full year. Now it looks like we're gonna have a top 5 class this year. We got two big commits today (Barksdale/Davis) and probably get more in the coming weeks ( Jones, Tolliver, McKnight, etc.). Even w/out JR next year, we still make a run for a NC. Life is good if you're a Tiger fan right now. Always great when you end the season whippin ND A$$ and finish with a possible no. 2 ranking.

Well then you would have to like every coach in the universe in that case.

If that were the case we would all be swinging from Sabans sack like a herd of nursing calves. I'll continue to form my own opinions although he was correct on Miles and I'm glad he and many others were. Geaux Miles and Geaux Tigers!!!!!!
