I didn't actually see this last night, but heard that Holtz referenced Hitler on ESPN last night. What exactly did he say?

He mentioned Hitler as being someone that was good at leading people. Not really that big of a deal.

Hitler was actually an excellent leader.
His opinions and beliefs were phucked up beyond belief, but his leadership skills were 2nd to none.

He said there are good leaders and there are bad leaders, Hitler was a good leader. I just chalked it up to typical Holtz babble.

Cannot agree. Hitler may have been a charismatic figure, but his leadership skills were severely flawed. He overruled his generals and lost the biggest war in history war as a result. He took council only of a small group of sycophants, several of whom were certifiable metal cases. He led otherwise decent German people into exterminating 8 million Jews, Gypsies, intellectuals, and others in death camps. He failed to surrender when the situation was hopeless and save his nation from destruction. Rather he waited until the whole country was sacked and killed himself rather than face the consequences along with his people. Hitler's powers to impress and indoctrinate people were second to none, but he was a pathetic leader.
