Louisville gets the shaft

    They lose to 15th ranked Rutgers on the road, not sure what the spread was, but it must have been pretty close to even.

    Texas, a 21 point favorite over K-State, loses.

    Louisville was ranked 3rd, Texas 4th. Yet Texas is 11th and Louisville 12th.

    Louisville should have been no worse than 10th.

    Its all about respect and the Big Least has none. And UT is the defending champs so the pollsters are gonna do their best to keep UT ranked as high as possible. Best example of this is ND. I think UL would kill UT, but that's the way it goes.

    I don't nearly have a handle on the weekly polls like you do, but I would feel pretty comfortable saying SOS had a lot to do with that.

    I think it is all about money. More fans will watch the networks if Texas, S Cal, Notre Dame, Michigan, and Ohio State are in the big Bowls.
