    This season has been really strange thus far. What with NDs climb into the top 10, Michigans falling out of the top 20-25, hurricanes, man... we still have a lot of great football to be played though.

    LSU fans should hit their collective knees and give thanks that Bobby Petrino wasn't seriously considered for their HC position. Whaat a stinker :bncry:

    Same goes for the Auburn fans, he almost replace Tub's before LSU looked at him.

    From what I hear, it's not that Petrino turned down the :lsup: job......it's that he bombed the interview & we didn't want him! Louisville was going to fire him unless he publicly announced that he turned down the job, rather than that LSU! denied him. I believe Sports Illustrated ran an artcile about the whole :lsup: ordeal to replace Saban & the difficulty finding a coach to replace him.

    I'll have to look to see if I can find that article. :)
