    4. LSU (3-1)
    W, Tulane 49-7
    next game: Mississippi State
A legitimate case could be made that Auburn is the number one team in the nation right now and LSU is number two. No one throttles the mediocre like the Tigers, and it should have few problems with Mississippi State next week.

I guarantee, that FLA, Ohio St, and USC will lose a game thisn season. They question will be, how far will we be able to move up??? I think that one of the teams playing fo rthe NC will be a 1-loss team! Hopefully it will be us!

Just remember guys. We lost early, to a team that was higher ranked than us. And probably everyone above us will lose to a team ranked lower than them. We should have no problem moving up as long as we keep kicking butt.

An AU-LSU rematch would be an incredible game.

The fans in the PAC 1+9 would still bitch about how over-rated the SEC is.

The Vegas over/under would be an interesting play.

Do you think that SEC refs would get the "Need not apply" email ?

That may be true, but, can we accept Booty looking more polished than JR?

If we win? Yes. If we lose? Yes. I honestly could care less about Booty.

If we could establish our running game and get one of these kids to step up to the challenge LSU would be the best team top to bottom on the gridiron today. Charles Scott could be that answer and I'm sure we'll see plenty of him again this weekend. You have to play the hot hand and this may well be what we are looking for to really establish a strong balanced offense.

Even with such an upolished QB like JR.

How would you get an LSU - AU rematch?? Wouldn't AU have to drop two for LSU to even think about going. LSU would have to run the table and win the SECCG. I am talking about realistically not these pie in the sky ideas that have 5 diferent teams doing ten things.

Also Ohio State has Iowa, Bowling Green, Mich State, Indiana, Minnesota, Illinios Northwestern, Michigan.

AU has South Carolina, Florida, Tulane, Ole Miss, Arkansas State, Georgia, Bamma.

Both of these teams are playing good enough to run the table. AU schedule is as good for home as ours was in 03.

I know we are all Tiger fans here, but let's at least try to be realistic. There are too many undefeated teams for LSU to be #2.
