    RPI

More importantly, their RPI rating is 27th. That is pretty high for early in the season and the schedule they have play to date. I saw their SOS was 309 on Saragrin - pretty bad. Everyone knows that the NCAA selection committee looks heavily at RPI for an at large selection. If your RPI stays below 40, you are pretty much a lock for the big dance is you have 18/19+ wins. Below are the links for the RPI and Saragrin.

the reason why our RPI is so high is b/c our opponents' opponents' opponents have all beaten teams in the top 10 and have tough strength of schedules....Pete Carrol told me we deserve to be #1 b/c we're 7-0 but blamed the computers for that

Maybe USC will end up in the NIT and they can say they are playing for the "real" National Championship.
