I don't have ESPN insider, but if someone does, could they post a sort of summary of what they have to say about LSU? The story is on the front page of ESPN's college football section right now. http://insider.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=2201883
Two Steps Forward While USC and Texas will still be in solid shape when the new BCS Standings are released on Monday, LSU is in good position for a one-loss team, projects Brad Edwards. ANY INSIDERS OUT THERE?
Thanks jesuit. BTW, how does one become an Insider? All you have to do is get a subscription to ESPN the Magazine, right?
Yeah, it's really aggrevating. I might sign up for a subscription for ESPN the Magazine if that's all you have to do to get the Insider information. I was dead set against it for a long time, but I thought you had to pay a fee ONLY to get the online information. It's just really frustrating each time you visit the site something that used to be free is now Insider.
dont mean to play Captain Obvious  but the big difference between lsu's chances of getting in the championship game this year over 03 is that there are no more bonus points for quality wins.
Neither LSU nor USC had any bonus points for quality wins in 2003. So Captain Obvious, could you explain why that's a big difference?
It depends WHO they lose to... IF SC loses to UCLA, I agree... History typically says it is better to lose early than late with OU being the only exception
We also have to figure that us being a one loss team means we beat UGA and Bama... That will boost our resume quite a bit
