I wrote up a LSU-Bama game preview for my site. If you're interested be sure to check it out. http://www.tigerscoop.com/LSUBama.htm P.S. One of my first articles I've ever written, so go easy on me. :geauxtige
I liked it. I am soooo pumped... Less than 16 hours till kick off. I am kind of happy that is a day game just so I don't have to wait that extra 5 hours.
Thanks. Yeah, I'm glad it's a early kickoff. I don't know if I'll even be able to watch Gameday I'm so nervous...I haven't been this nervous since the National Championship Game.
i think the key for lsu to win the game is as you said we need jamarcus to stay poised and not give up the big play, but i want to see him stretch the field in this game. We also need to be all over darby if we are going to win this game. He is basically their offense but he doesnt scare me too much with our stud rush d.
Very true. But spreading the field relies on the playcalling. Darby is a good power back. Irons is a quick guy who can also run you over, and you know what he did on us. If we contain Darby, we may shut Bama out.
I posted this in another thread, but these are my keys to the game for LSU: LSU will win if they: 1. Stop the bama running game. 2. Do not turn the ball over 3. Make good decisions and take what the bama D gives them. 4. Blitz.... Get pressure on Croyle the entire game. Bama could easily win this game if LSU makes too many mistakes. If LSU plays focused, they should win by two scores. Pretty basic stuff, we just need to execute.
Croyle will be your key. Keep pressure on him, force him to quick outs and stifle Darby. The problem is that Croyle loves the deep pass, and excels at the short pass. As you stifle Darby you'll see Johns darting around, and might even pass it too. How can LSU possibly win against that package? Do what MSU, AR, TN, and so on... eliminate the Offensive Line. You guys are poised to win this one, play hard, and you may go home with a smile, but you will be tested like nothing else you have seen this season and perhaps like nothing else you have seen... ever.
I sure hope so... #3 vs #5 . This should be something to remember. I hope we will be tested like nothing else we have seen this season and perhaps like nothing else we have seen... ever. I want to have an epic battle and remember it for the rest of my life. LSU 24 Bama 10
I'm thinking more like 2-0. Tyrone Prothro comes back into the game for desperation. They do a reverse to Prothro in his wheelchair and Kyle Williams picks him up and throws him into the goal post. That's just how I see it...
