Awesome season...and a great team coming back next year. Congrats Coach Mainieri and team. As for you all, I have thoroughly enjoyed the past few weeks on TF...it's been fun to have something to talk about besides recruiting, Appy St., and Nick Saban.:lol: And a special thanks to Pod for the chicken wire...meant a lot to us out of staters.:thumb: :geaux:
Yes, extra kudos to Pod for the chicken wire. My experience was much better being able to actually watch the games throughout the postseason.
Congrats to UNC but damn that team was really fortunate against us in these two games. Experienced teams seem to make things happen and that seemed to be the difference. We're tied at 3 in the bottom of the 8th with the bases loaded... If someone asked you, what's the worst possible scenario? The response would probably be...we don't score and UNC hits a Grand Slam in the top of the 9th. ...and Damn, it happens! o:
Ok, I'm pretty pissed off that our last out was called when he was clearly safe. I will clearly root for Fresno State the rest of the way now! I just wish the umpires would make the correct call and not get carried away with one side or the other! Anyway, I'm proud of the Tigers, what a post season it was! It's great to see us back in the CWS and with the Freshman we have we will probably be back next year.
That's not exactly how I imagined this one ending. Amazing stretch run by the Tigers. This was fun to watch. Thank you Coach PM and team for bringing a lil magic back to Tiger Baseball. Oh, and Omaha, start getting ready. We're coming back next year. And plan on staying a little longer on that trip.
