Should be Coleman...the game was tied and he gave up the winning run(s).

These guys made baseball fun to watch again. I haven't enjoyed a baseball season this much in years. I hope these guys take a bow, they've earned it. It was a second half of the season for the ages. Way to go, TIGERS! You're champs in my book! :LSU231::milesmic::geaux:

A Great season that will not be soon forgotten. The Mainieri Era has officially arrived.

To all my new friends in god-forsaken lands (Korea, Florida, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Basic Cable) It was an honor to serve. Payment, though completely unnecessary, will be accepted in the form of Coca-Cola 12 paks, or tickets that aren't in East or West Uppers.

BTW, Cox starts replaying the football games in a week or two. You might want to be here when that starts. :thumb:

I have auditors coming in on Monday. I was going to blow it off if we kept winning. I guess I can get my books in order now.

By the way...if you are an auditor of any type...I hate you. :hihi:

Nice run by the Tigers. We weren't even supposed to get this far so fast, so take solace in that we're ahead of schedule. Get used to seeing us in Omaha again annually.

BTW, walking the guy before the one who hit the GS was the right call. I haven't read every post in the thread, so I hope they're aren't many who are second guessing PM.

I enjoyed the run. It was quite exciting. And it was a pleasure discussing baseball with all the fine folks here.

Now what to do with myself for the next 2 months.

I travel the country seeking out wrongdoers.
I'm not a bean counter, though. It's technical stuff so don't hate me. I need to be loved.

Back to LSU, there's no way they win 5 games in 6 days so perhaps the grand slam was a mercy killing. It wasn't nearly as painful as Paul Carey's off Big Ben 20 years ago.
