I was looking at the Top 25 (not expecting to see LSU) and looked to see how many votes we actually received and how far away we are from the top 25. Guess what, not one fricken point. Even Texas A&M-Corpus Christi has a vote and Old Dominion. This means that technically coaches feel that these teams are better then LSU. DEPRESSING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :dis: :dis: http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/rankings
Well, A&M-CC is there because they went on the road and beat Florida State, beat a decent TCU team, beat that Old Dominion team, and blew out Baylor in Waco.
...and we're not there because we lost to West Virginia, who eked out a 3 point road win over a powerhouse Duquesne ballclub... A raucous home crowd, that must have been...
I'd have to agree w/the voters at this point. I've been to every game (including exhibition games) minus one...this club has yet to find its identity. But hopefully once SEC rolls around, we'll find a groove and take the championship. On a side note, West Virginia is a very well coached team. I look forward to watching them once January rolls around. They also have a lot of shooters on that team.
actually its all the coaches because LSU is nowhere in the list. its sad to think that lsu is not even considered.
why should they think LSU is any better than TA&MCC? because we have 25,000 more students? LSU hasn't shown anything this year and thus, deserves no national respect. beating TU, UNO, ULL and NW St is not exactly worth any votes IMO. defensively, which we thought was brady's mo, this team is weak. I think it's gonna be another tough year unless this team learns how to defend the perimeter.
That's because they have underestimated LSU's cancer, Brady. He has stated he is now ready to compete for the NCAA Championship this year. He is sneaking up on them. Boy are they in for a surprise when he wins it all this year.
do you want to rescind that statement? as I said yesterday, this team doesn't play perimeter defense. that spells trouble for the tigers, definitley not national championship!
