Two games tonight made me feel a little better about our basketball team. FSU beat #3 Wake Forest in OT. As we all know, we beat FSU soundly. As of right now, Alabama is pasting #19 Mississippi State 89-44 with less than three minutes to go in the second half. So our loss to Bama doesn't seem so bad. Bama is sure to move into the top 20. Maybe this season has hope afterall. :geauxtigs
i tend to think this stuff is useless, but fun sometimes nonetheless. the florida st win may end up carrying some weight. always known bama is good. i think tonights win shows how much the bulldogs miss frazier. the test is how we do against them.
Basketball season is all about getting a decent amount of wins and being in the top 4 of your conference... Tournament time is the true test...
good post. patience. lets be on brady's side until he really has ruined the season. who knows, the young guys might even figure it out and make the tournament and do a little damage.
All I have to say that I'll be courtside tonight baby! I mean right on the court... I'll be so close - I'll feel the ground tremble as Big Baby runs past me.
why you gotta go do that? its bad enough i live way the hell over here, but i gotta hear about you being courtside too. this sucks all i can do is hold out for a tournament site nearby
The SEC has been down the last couple of years, and is again this year. Kentucky is solid as usual. Alabama, MSU and Florida are tourney teams, but not great teams. After that, it'll be a struggle to get two more teams in the tourney. LSU must win games like tonight. Protect the home court and try to steal a couple of road games. I think LSU needs to finish with at least 9 SEC wins to have any chance at the tourney, unless they plan on winning the SEC tourney. FYI ... I'm 2-0 so far this season when attending, but can't make it tonight. Somebody needs to pick up my slack!
