OK, and Northern Iowa is a bad loss how? They're ranked right up there around LSU. Well, they were before the latest loss.... to who? ugh LSU is a good team and we played well against TOUGH COMPETITION...If we play ALL the teams we lost to again, right now, I say we take 'em all save one or two of them (you pick.) Then again many people don't remember that we came a couple of points away from beating one of the best teams in the country, in THEIR house. That win alone would have had us ranked...LSU will be a dangerous team come tourney time if we can get consistent perimeter play from garrett and taz...and of course d-mitch
Alot of teams advance in March b/c they are "hot". The LSU team is coming together at the right time. We obviously have talent albeit young talent. Add to this Mitchell's hot hand and its not unrealistic to mention them as being in the Final Four. Hopefully the team can remain focused and not take its foot off of the gas. GO TIGERS !
Northern Iowa's best player just got his season ended... They won't even make the NCAAs now probably... But when we played them, they were a very solid little team
It's going to come down to Darrell Mitchell. If I remember correctly, a big reason we lost in the first round of the NCAA last year was because we had nobody that could make a 3 pt shot. Mitchell just had a real bad night, and unfortunately will still don't have any other consistent threats from that area. Maybe Tas will be a bigger factor by then.
Well if LSU continues to play solid as a team, final 4 wouldn't be too crazy with our 5 losses coming by a total 11 points, including a 1 point loss @ #1 uconn, i think LSU can hang with anyone now, no matter the opponent, and if we stay this consisitent we should do well in the tournament
