Heard just now on ESPN.. yes.. you are right.. actually on ESPN, Mark May was allowed to say "LSU is best SEC team". He said LSU would win 3 out 4 games against Auburn on neutral site. Heard around 3:30 ET and would beat Florida next week. Oh yes.. and he did mention about the "PI" not given to LSU.

He is the only analyst on ESPN I have seen giving credit to LSU. Always good to hear good things about LSU.

    Geaux tigers!!!

An accurate assesment from Mr. May. I'll be surprised if he's still with ESPN in the future for making a good call, that's just not ESPN's style.

  3. That sounds like an outrageous state by ESPN's standards, thanks for Sharon.

I try not to pay attention to what these media guys say. LSU might be on top of the SEC, but we aren't the total package. If we could run the ball we would be unstopable. Why is it when we finally get our passing game going our running game and return game reach their lowest state in years. Argh.

One reason may be that our opponents have all stacked the box on us.

I wouldn't mind seeing Mr. May lose his job because of this quote

I don't understand stacking the box when the passing game is tearing you up.

Oposing coaches of the GOOD sec schools in their minds have a low opinion of JR and Jimbos ability to beat them throwing every frick'n down. So they stack the box and force JR to throw on third and long knowing either they make the play, Jimbo calls the wrong play or JR has a bad throw. Worked like a charm for the barners. Yeah yeah the refs helped to, but it should not would not come to that if ya can run the ball when ya need to. Five games into the season and still no running game. HOW do they get it started, do they start over, different combinations of linemen, tweak the schemes. What do you guys and gals think will be the answer?

There's no answer until we get some decent linemen in via recruiting.

Yeah, I agree. JaMarcus didn't torch Auburn or anything. He certainly didn't throw for over 250 with no interceptions. The guy sucks. :dis:
