Roll call... who will be here tomorrow? Amused by all of the bitching about the A.J. Haulcey suspension. Chickenshit that Clemson called it out, but our admins should have known, or shouldn't have tried to slip it by. Imagine if he played, we win, and after all the importance and hype that's being put on this game, the NCAA vacated it for using an ineligible player?
I thought about that also and believe they may have done us a big one by calling it out. I guess we will see about the great depth that CBK has spoken of.
@Hou-duco In looking this up and talking on other sites, I know now that his original problem - an unsportsmanlike conduct ejection - did not include an automatic suspension. That came after the game when the NCAA escalated the penalty to fighting, and supposedly didn't make a public announcement, only told U of Houston. Still feel our guys should have researched his situation better, but may not have been the screwup I originally imagined.
Hopefully the D can control the game well enough. That when A.J. comes in at the half he will be on fresh legs to give a boost to the D.
