A little more heart from the Tiger fans

First off, I know this post may piss off alot of people but oh well.
IMO Brando has alot of thing dead on. I cant believe fans at the game are boooing the team when we were down to Troy. Why are they booing?? DO they think the players are not trying or the coachs are mailing it in?? And I see it everwhere including this board how that was an ugly win or we should be starting Russel. Well just last year these same people were saying Nick was the smartest coach on the face of the planet. I guess I just would like to see a little more confidence in the coaching and a lot more respect for the team. These guys are trying there azz off and thing are not coming easy. Last year was great; but this year is pretty damb good too, bad look at the schedule and our record.

About all the "we" from the editors I dont know a whole lot about that, I think most editor are not objective when writing about there home team.

Sorry if I pissed anyone off.

    ..

It dosen't matter who wrote the article, it rings true. LSU fans are quick to get down on players and coaches. It didn't just start this season.

The truth shall set you free, but first it is going to piss you off. The thruth is very hard to swallow at times.

Back to the topic at hand.

I made my annual visit to Death Valley last Saturday. We were in the South end zone (S-3 I think). I don't recall hearing much booing. In fact, I think the South end zone fans were doing a hell of a lot of cheering and offering encouragement late in the fourth quarter trying to get the Tigers back in the game.

Are you suggesting Saban blew this booing out of proportion too? He's the one that got this ball rolling this week, which is why the national media picks up on these stories!

The booing was pathetic last Saturday night and I'm glad to see people call out these pathetic LSU fans...

Actually I like Brando a lot, this article included.

I am not sure if I agree with it or not, as I am pretty neutral on the booing issue (I would not boo but it does not piss me off either). However, Brando calls it like he sees it. I love the fact that he pretty much disrepects the Big East and calls it a joke that they still get an automatic BCS bid.

I believe Saban represents LSU with dignity and class. Yes, he can be arrogant at times with the media. Yes, he can lose he cool on the sidelines at times. But overall, he has done nothing but enhanced LSU's reputation around the country ... and I'm not just talking about winning football games!

Some LSU fans could learn something about dignity and class from him...

News Flash...LSU isn't the only team with boobird fans. I was watching Georgia and Tennessee a few weeks ago and UT made a particularly awful play and...yep you guessed it...the fans booed. Miami is another example. Brock Berlin has been booed more times than he can count in a couple of games this year. Did Tiger fans suit up in orange and head up to ol Rocky Top just to boo UT? De we take the 18 hour drive to Miami to give them a boo too? It happens everywhere and it will always go on. Like I said in another post...when the boos begin start and LSU LSU chant...the boos go away in a hurry.
