I almost changed it to "Disappointments on NSD", actually, but I just used the usual terminology.

USC's class was tremendous, but they lost out big time on NSD. There's no way to sugarcoat it.

When do they normally rank the next class(2010) after NSD?

Just looking at the espn class rankings, they have us at #1 with 10 Espn150 players, which doesn't even include JJ yet. He will make 11.

Apparently Espn uses a very disparate "formula" from Rivals??

It just seems odd that they are scored so differently.

Re: LSU Finishes 1st Overall in Mega Rankings Index

ESPN believes it is silly to rank the top 30 (rivals) or 50 players (scout) as separate from the top 150.

    Very different formula.

    ESPN has their new rankings:

    Lightly Press Here

    1 LSU
    2 Bama
    3 Texas
    4 USC
    5 Florida

I guess this is still contingent on you all keeping Jackson, which I guess is pretty much confirmed?

    Pretty much...

If we do lose Janzen then I think #1 and #2 would switch in the rankings. LSU would swap spots with Bama on Scout and stay the same on Rivals. Have no clue on what would happen on ESPN's rankings.
