Herbstreit is only talking nice now because he HAS to. He's been raggin the Tigers all year. Now all of a sudden he wants to get Tiger friendly? I say to hell with him.
I don't get how they are not talking about possible chaos, like 07. Seems it would be good talking points to stir the pot and create excitement. Instead they only talk about the top 4. If Oregon Dloses 1 and auburn loses to bama and possibly USC, and Boise loses at nevada next week, it would be a rating bonanza for the talking head college shows. Oh well, I guess that is what this board is for.
If they did they would be continuing Miles campaign to ensure a 1 loss SEC team be the #1 candidate to get to the MNC, over BSU and TCU. Something they just won't do because it would be promoting LSU. Who, because of past gaffs we have had, they barely want to acknowledge we should be in a BCS Bowl, much less the MNC.
Agreed herb is a d-bag. Always has been always will be. He's one of those bobble heads up there that when his opinion comes up I can almost predict what he will say (picks tosu, usc, nd, gumps, oh yea and tosu). only if there was an ignore button on the tv also.
