I just heard on buddy songy's show about a photo he got at the bayou recruting bash yesterday.Does anyone know anything about where he got it and where I can get one for myself?:thumb:
OK I just called 1210 am and talked to dave and he said the picture was 4 different pictures of tiger stadium in 1 photo. The first was tiger stadium taken in 1952 when it was horseshoe shaped, the second was in the late 60's ,the third was in the mid 80's and the fourth was in 2003,and it was given to him by someone from gulf coast aerial mapping in baton rouge.I'm going to call them and see if I can get one for my gameroom and i'll post as to how much it cost and how it looks.
I have those in my office.. you can get them on the LSU sports net gift center they have tons of different pics
I have some photos of Tiger Stadium from around 1936 and some taken in 1939 by a Tennessee fan. I collect old photos of LSU football.
John Musemeche has been doing LSU football photos for near 40 years now, last time I went to his house in the early 80's he had some of the best photos of LSU I have ever seen.
Ok.I saw the photos you guys are putting up and they are pretty cool.I never knew where to go to find them. Thanks for all thi help.I went by the place on harding blvd. called gulf coast mapping just to see for myself and the pictures they have are nice.I bout the one that they gave to buddy and it has tiger stadium in four different stages of build on one photo print.I would guess it to be about 25x25 inhes for $45.00.They even do framing there. Not to bad .I am also going to buy A photo from the last website you listed in tiger stadium in the 30's for my gameroom also. Thanks for all the posts.
It's a really cool pic. Someone gave one to Blake at the Bash and it was a really nice pic. It's cool to see how Tiger Stadium and the area around it has evolved.
Prather in sports media used to be able to aim everyone in the right direction for LSU pics but I don't think he will be doing it anymore. Todd
