Ouch! I've wanted Brady gone for two years...I gave him ample opportunity to win me over as a fan, but he cannot get through to his kids to make them consistently improve.

Having said that, it is a disgrace to be in contention for the SECW title and not even come close to a sell out :( If I lived within 200 miles I'd be there...Brady or not, I hope everyone that can go - will. And take 3 of your friends with you! Support the players if not the coach!

I listened to Brady on the post-game show after the Florida game. He said lots of stuff calling out the fans. Imo, he has every reason to do so. Their games this season ahve been very exciting to see in person!

I was given tickets to the FL game and took my kids, but I have to say that there was no electricity for that game until LSU went on about a 5 or 7 to 0 run at the end of the first half. Crowd was pretty good after that time. At the end, crowd was really into it and it was fun. I don't know why, but just no buzz, no buzz at all. That's got to change. There is so much expectation in Fball, but for some reason it's not there in Bball. This is not to criticize anyone, just my observation.

It's not a beehive. Is this your 1st game attended? What do you expect? The game action dictates crowd reaction. I've seen the Celtics play in Boston, The Yankees in NY, The Canadiens in Montreal and the Cubs in Chicago. The crowd noise ebbed and flowed according to what was going on on the field/floor/ice. To paraphrase Harold Reynolds: "There's no buzz in sports".

It's not really the head coaches job to worry about attendance. He job is to win. The Marketing department or Athletic Department is in charge of putting butts in seats...

right on. i have been saying this forever. people are always saying, "brady should be fired, because of attendance", which is silly. brady is a coach, not a marketer. his responsibility is to put a competitive team on the floor. you simply cannot argue he isnt doing that right now.

I'd have to respectfully disagree, when Skip first came, he understood that playing to empty seats is depressing for the players. It's kind of like the chicken or the egg deal with what happens first winning or attendance. Dale Brown canvassed the state drumming up support for LSU bball, and he also put winners on the floor. I'm all for putting a winner on the floor, but there is something to be said for crowd dynamics. A full room whether a church, banquet or a bball game has a certain amount of electricity/buzz to it. Missing on Sat. until the game action warranted it. It was fun, but dead initially.

i dont disagree that a good crowd is important, i only disagree with where that responsibility lies. would you hire a coach that was great at coaching and recruiting and always put a winner on the floor, if he didnt give a damn about attendance? i would. (please dont reply to this that brady is a bad coach and recruiter, that is beside the point) attendance is the responsibility of the fans or the marketing department.

if nobody came to patriots games, would you fire belichick? no. you fire the marketing department, or move the team.
