LSU is 3-0 and #3 in the country - Take a look at where we stand right now and our next 3 games !

I must say I love this team and how they play the game. Solid D that gives you very little and O that just hits you in the mouth.

I do have a concern about depth at OL and any futher fallen on the OL and what that could do to our power run game.

I do have a concern about our punting now that our starter is out. But over-all I would give the ST's a B with help needed in the coverage on Kick offs. Once again the guy with the Hat has found a great FG kicker and he put the points on the board to beat MSU!

The WR corp will be helped with RS coming back this week and I look forward the seeing Shep on the field but #33 is looking awesome for a true freshman.

What could we do better? Les has showed enough O to win but maybe that bag could be opened a little wider but I am not complaining as many are. You play the game for a W and Les is the King of knowing what is enough and how to set up the 4th quarter for victory.

I know the D might play better so I feel sorry for the guys that are trying to move the ball on this bunch.

Sept 24th - West Virginia - Mountain people

They will be a poor verison of the Ducks and I just don't see it. I know we are on the road but just take a look at Les and his record for OCC games.



Oct 1st - Kentucky - at home in Baton Rouge - enough said

Oct 8th - Florida - any game with the Gators is a big game and the Gators have my respect. I have no idea what they will bring but I am glad we play them in BR. To me this is a huge game and one that the Tigers will need 100% of all we got to win. I love being a Tiger fan for games like this.



We got lots of time to game plan the Mountain folks and LSU has yet to play its best game. I wish I was making this trip but I will enjoy the TV for this one.

I am very interested in the injury report on Wing and Faulk. We missed both of them in the game last night.

 

Hey guys, greetings from Northern West Virginia... Cannot wait for the game next Saturday, everyone up here is pumped up and can't wait. However, I think you are a little off in your description. We are NOT a poor man's Oregon, we are more like a poor man's Oklahoma State ....Kidding aside, many WVU fans are not anticipating a win against you guys by any means, but we do believe it will be a lot closer than you guys think. Your defense is the best in the nation no doubt, but ours isn't shabby either as we have been in the top 10 the past several years consistently. Our offense has 2 stars, Geno Smith and Tavon Austin (Tavon winning returner of the year wouldn't be a stretch by any means as hes #1 in KR through 2 games and #4 in PR and every time he touches it you hold your breath like Peterson last year)..However our run game has been abysmal with 3 true freshman and a line that always underperforms....Our 3-3-5 bends but doesn't break, I expect you guys to move the ball on us but settle for a lot of FG's...I can't wait to see how it shakes out...my heart says WVU 31 LSU 28 but my brain says LSU 34 WVU 24....Good Luck and lets goo eeers

Welcome to the board. I hope you guys are not too concerned with LSU right now, you have your hands full tomorrow in what should be a real test and will only help you coming into next week’s game.

We know Mr. Austin, and Mr. Smith very well. We laid a licking on them last year. Geno is not the same QB that stumble against the Tigers last year, he is MUCH improved and has the ability to be the 1st to really give this defense fits.

WVU has always had a stiffening defense, you guys use tons of speed on D, which is very similar to LSU and why both of our defenses are so dominant.

I am looking forward to a good week of ribbing and friendly smack talk with the EER fans, last year got a bit out of control and it will be interesting to see if Wicked Jester and that other dude "eerfan" something like that show back up

we will see, it definetly won't be easy AT ALL!, It is all going to depend how well we are clicking, but its not outside the realm of possibilities

 

WVU gave us all we could handle in our own house last year. We are a better team this year, but I think this could be a tough game.
