News LSU is exploring adding seating to the south endzone

    I know there have been discussions on this board several times recently about this. If they think they can sell all those new suites, consider it done.

    :geaux: I don't think there will be a problem with selling the Club Seats & Suites. There's a big waiting list for those. The general seating could be an issue at times with some of the rent-a-win games, but as long as the Tigers stay near the top most of those will have a butt in them. If 'Bama and Rocky Top can put over 100,000 butt's in their stadiums, why can't LSU? Plus, the Clubs & Suites are tremendous money makers for the Athletic Dept. The biggest problem with all this is avoiding the need to re-route Nicholson Dr. They'll figure that out and IMO, I think we'll see expansion happen within the next five years. :LSU231:

    I would prefer them to give the place a facelift but whatever... maybe that will drop the TAF fee...I won't hold my breath on that one

    yep. College football is going the way of the pros. More and more about the $, to hell with anything that gets in the way.

    And as red pointed out the other day, I think it would really be detrimental in cuttin down a lot of sunlight for the grass.
