1. Pretty interesting!

According to analytics from SkullSparks, the Tigers were mentioned in 2.33 million social media interactions across Twitter, Facebook and Instagram through last week. The mentions tallied from Dec. 2 to 8 were more than any other team in the country.

  4. Yup, live in Wentzville MO about 40 west of Saint Louis city but still part of the metro area. I walked in to pick up my daughter after school. I was wearing my LSU. Some kid screamed "Joe Borrow Heisman".
  5. I live in the Houston area. Of course, there are tens of thousands of relocated Cajuns here. It's always a good conversation starter when someone is wearing anything with LSU on it.
  6. Yep, and saints too... I wear my saints shit, win or lose and I get people going out of their way to say Who Dat...

  7. I was in Massachusetts during the 2011 season and went to ap Patriots game. I was wearing alm LSU hat and a group of young guys in the seats in front of us noticed and told me they were LSU fans even though they were locals. Ppsaid they tried to make at least one LSU game every year.
  8. You reply Niners dat?
  9. People on the upper east coast have to have someone to pull for. Their major college football is non-existent up there.

So I run into the same thing out here on the left(ist) coast. I do meet people from La., and N.O with my Tiger and Saints gear, but I meet a lot of folks who just like the Saints. I can’t relate to them at all. The bandwagon is big, but when you can’t talk gumbo, then the conversation will likely end up being fairly short.
