    No...they didn't....

you cant really compare the 2 because michigan blew it, but USC thouroughly dominated their game.....

LSU was one K. Jones dropped pass from having a tied ballgame....

The pass to Kejuan Jones was not dropped. It was overthrown because of the pressure White was under.

Make no mistake. Even though they only won by one touchdown, LSU dominated that game. The offense got conservative in the 4th quarter because the defense was playing so well.

I will be the first to admit that USC opened my eyes to how very good they are and how many impact players they have on both sides of the ball after killing Michigan.

    BUT......................

I STILL believe that a great defense beats a great offense. Matt Lienhart saw a below average pass rush in Michigan, which was disappointing. He would be confused, bewildered, perplexed, staggered, and whatever other verbs you want to throw in there, by the VAUNTED LSU Defense. His wideouts would NOT be running around uncontested like that against Michigan. Webster, Daniels, Gay, Hunt and Landry showed me that they can cover any set of receivers, no matter how talented....and believe me the OU set of receivers is talented....ask everyone OU played, including K-State.

My only other point is that OU would kill Michigan as well.....so I am not sure the Michigan game proved anything more other than USC actually has a good defense as well.

    LSU 27-10.....sorry

Not only that, but if jcrack_corn wants to play the "LSU was one K. Jones dropped pass from having a tied ballgame"card, then we can play the same card with Mauck's fumble on the opening drive, the field goal wiped away by a holding call and phantom personal foul call, and at least a 10 point swing on the drive where Mauck threw the pick and OU returned it to the 30 and eventually scored. Factor all that in and it's a blowout.

You got it right on point.

Outcome should have been 31-0 or 31-7 at best.
