1. 8 SEC teams in the top 25, 5 of which are from the West. In fact 5 of those Western Division teams are in the top 15. And chew on this, Mississippi State has UAB and South Alabama before we go toe to toe in what will be a top 25 match up. So that will be 6 of the 7 teams from the SEC West in the top 25.

  2. Does Les have any relatives that are AP voters? :D
  3. And what poll was that, chief? :D

You AP haters realize that poll has outlasted the BCS poll and may now be more relevant than ever?

I agree with all the upcoming, "But that was the agreement then" statements in defense of the BCS. Just thought it was food for thought.

  4. There is no relevance at all in any poll any more. They are still here because we all want to see them from week to week instead of just waiting for the committee to name the four playoff teams. This thread is proof of that. We are talking about the polls

  5. Rly? Watch and see where the top 2-4 teams in that poll end up.
  6. Not once we start beating up on each other.
  7. It would be the same teams if there were no polls. We just wouldn't know who the best teams are during the season
  8. Interesting. So, with that logic, we never really needed polls at all then??;)
  9. For the record, I really don't give a shyt. Yall use, choose, whatever poll yall want...or not. I'm the guy who was missing the 2014 CFB season Thursday night openers, while watching Geraldo.
