From Billy Turner LSU Football Department 01/24/2004 The purpose of this news release is to tell everyone not to worry about coming to any games in 2004 as Turbotigerfan says we shouldn't worry about winning in 2004 because it's better for us to use the year to develope our 2 younger QB's, who we have NO IDEA of how good they are going be, even if Marcus Randall beat them out in practice. That way we can continue with the west side renovation without any delays and have it ready in the spring of 2005 for the spring game. Also, since we have several redshirt freshmen on the team that have more potential than all of our returning seniors we are not going to waste our time playing any of the other seniors either. And while we're at it we might as not play Skyler Green, Dwayne Bowe or Craig Davis as Amp Hill, Early Doucet and probably Xavier Carter are supposed to be better than them. Going further, due to the recruiting rankings of Glen dorsey, Marlon Favorite and Claude Wroten we have decided to revoke the scholarships of Melvin oliver, Brandon Washington and Kyle Williams as it would be foolish to play them since these freshmen have so much more upside to their potential. In addition, Terrell Mcgill, Ben Wilkerson and Rudi Niswanger will all be transferring to Division II Transylvania State university in order to make room for the fabulous trio of Ryan Miller, Jerry Sevin and Garrett Wibel as Insiders .com said that these 3 should be starters by that time in the reports. All moneys that we expected to collect from ticket sales in 2004 will be re-couped by doubling all tickets prices in 2005. Thanks for patiience and enjoy watching professional football in 204 and if that isn't good enough for you then please buy our 2003 season in review CD and play each game on the corresponding Saturday next fall. Sincerly, Billy Turner Asistant to the assistant equipment manager
