For you fans of this annoying feature, are you pleased that it's suddenly become the Statewide Crime report?
Nothing irritating to me other than the non-LSU news stuff. I hate having to sort through all the garbage to get to the info I need. Hey - the LSU news section is starting to look like the internet! WOMP.
Well as much as I love hearing about my hometown (shreveport) and someone almost blowing their own face away, I'd have to agree with SabanFan...Are the parameters screwed up or something?
Brett would be the one to answer such things. I believe it just looks for articles with LSU and Louisiana State University though. Maybe he can set it to only get sports articles somehow though, dunno.
I never saw the need for it. There are enough people reading through the internet to find and post about anything LSU sports related
But what does it hurt? LSU news does go unreported on the main forum sometimes. The friggin' barner board picks up on LSU news quicker than The Tigers Den many days. I really can't understand why The Voice of Reason lets it annoy him so much when it is so easy to simply ignore. It's a robot, for Pete's sake, I don't expect it to make good decisions, just tirelessly select and post items for our amusement. I ignore most of them. Doesn't bother me a bit.
