LSU No. 1 in the latest Collegiate Baseball poll

the previous #1, Oregon, fell to #10 after getting swept by Oregon State and falling from 1st place in the Pac to finishing 3rd place

this is how LSU did in the other polls:

We'll have our hands full with Oregon State in our regional.

Evidently CPM is not doing a good job lately.

 

I don't think there are that many teams that you can consider any better than LSU. We seem to be playing at a pretty even keil with everyone else. The days of Gorilla ball are now over but if we can continue to get productivity from our pitching staff and our defense we should do fine. I"m a little worried about the team who comes out of the Houston regional... such as The Univeristy of Rice... They have always been a great ball club. I'm pretty sure thats who we would meet in Baton Rouge in a super regional. Paul Manerie was livid in the SEC tournament when the umpires were clearly in Miss. States favor calling time in the middle of a game... I salute CPM for all he has done at LSU and is the closest thing to Skipp Bertaman that we will ever see.

 

I'll keep that in mind next time I post something on here. Didn't know I was being graded.
