LSU not being given respect of a top tier program?

Unless things drastically change, then the list of coaches interested in the LSU job will be very disappointing to me.

A lot of LSU faithful on here would say LSU is a top 5 program right now. Outside of TigerNation it does not appear others hold that same view.

Do you think if USC, OU, Miami or FSU were looking for a head coach that Patrino and Miles would be their leading candidates? I doubt it seriously.

    Welcome to reality, people.

Let's hope Skip is pursuing some "big" names behind the scenes that haven't been leaked to the media or boosters. If not, then I agree we're in deep doo doo.

When Joe Paterno finally croaks the speculation about his replacement will be just like it is here now. The fact is that Paterno has tanished his own legend by hanging on way past his prime and had dragged a once premier program down to the ground.

Considering ND, Fla and AU went after Petrino, I would have to answer your question with a yes.
