Damn right! Faced adversity...........had a large deficit in penalties.............came back.....stood on defense..........and took the game. After throwing 3 interceptions..............Flynn Led the team.........something to be said for that. This teams schedule, UNLIKE Ohio states ahs had the roughest schedule in the nation, winning nail biting games against GOOD teams and often having to come back from defeat. thats called moxxy. My only hope is they correct the sillty mistakes............and if they do , they will blow the opposition away. 150 yards worth of penalties doesn't cut the mustard, against georgia or any other nationally ranked team.

You might call the Tigers out on the bad plays and everything, but you would NEVER call them unworthy of their ranking. Seriously. I'll take the win but we didn't play like the number 3 team in the nation. I don't care what anybody says on this forum but it will be interesting what the non LSU crowd says and where they rank us tomorrow!

I've said that since the Tulane game. These kids won't quit. They just keep coming at you...imperfections and all. I think Bama morphed off into a mindset after they were up by 10, something like "Yea, we got them now". Had they watched any LSU films this season, that should have told them that 10 points wouldn't be near enough. In my opinion their defense kinda pulled back the reins a bit. That proved to be a costly mistake. All this proves one thing, If you play the LSU Tigers this year you better play for a full 60 minutes, regardless what the score is. :geaux::geaux::geaux::geaux::geaux::geaux:

Actually this team shot themselves in the foot for 57 minutes before the overwhelming descrepancy in the talent levels of these 2 teams took over. It's a great win. But it was probably the ugliest win I can remember for quite some time.
Good teams win ugly. That's how Joe Montana and legendary SF 49ers got to the Super Bowl a couple of times, and no one says how terrible it is that they played like dog.... for three quarters and then had to pull it out at the end. I'm not proud of the penalties or the INTs but I can be proud of the outcome, which 'Bama fans can't. And I want LSU to meet Ohio State because Herbstreit is SO scared of us. He wants ANYONE but an SEC team in the 'Dome in January. He has good reason. LSU would beat Ohio State.:milesmic: :LSU231:
