Les on TM7 participating at LSU Pro Day

    “Here’s a guy who’s worked awfully hard
to be a part of us and is deserving to
work out in a place where he participated
in ball,” LSU coach Les Miles said, via Jim
Kleinpeter of the New Orleans Times-
    Picayune . “I think he’ll be most
    comfortable in these surroundings."

“I talked to him. His traditions are here. I
wouldn’t want him to have to go
    someplace else."

I love CLM's loyalty. Never turns his back on any of those guys.

"This is one of those days that make you
proud to be a coach," LSU coach Les
Miles said. "These guys have worked so
hard to get to this point and to have an
opportunity to showcase their skills and
abilities to the NFL on our campus is
    exciting.
"Anytime you bring 100 or more NFL
scouts and coaches to your campus for
an event like this, it's an opportunity to
showcase our program and all of the
great things that LSU has to offer. It also
validates what we are doing as a
program and that's a testament to our
staff and the great job they do with these
guys on and off the field."

Jason Garrett doesn't visit a lot of pro
days, but the LSU pro day will be one of
    them this year.
    ...
    Garrett has made himself scarce
at these events, attending just two pro
days over the last two years.
In 2011, the only pro day Garrett visited
was at USC, and after the Cowboys drafted
    Tyron Smith out of USC
    ...
    Garrett visited Alabama's
pro day in 2012 and the Cowboys didn't
end up picking some of Alabama's top
    prospects
    ...
Personally, I'd love to see Eric Reid in a
    Cowboys uniform.
    ...
    In the
coming weeks, Reid will come to Dallas for
an official pre-draft visit, one of 30 the
team is afforded by the league.
    ...
The Cowboys, of course, have spent the
offseason thus far looking for safety help
    after releasing veteran Gerald Sensabaugh
in a cost-cutting maneuver just before the
    league’s free agency period.
    ...
It is still generally thought that Dallas will
go after an offensive lineman with their first
    round pick, No. 18 overall.
    ...
    there is a
chance (Mingo) could fall to the Dallas
Cowboys in next April's draft. Dallas has
also shown they have been willing to
trade up for a player. If Mingo is rated
high on their board, the Cowboys could
    make a play for him.
    ...
