1. 20 returning starters? Spears, Webster, Daniels, Wilkerson, Randall, Turner all gone. How do you lose 6 starters and still have 20 left?
  2. I guess specials teams players like kickers etc.
  3. Not a real fan of preseason polls. Wow they actually have the Hawks ranked # 2..........Can't see it.............
  4. I like the Hawkeyes, but their Big Ten schedule is as hard as it gets.

They get Ohio State, Michigan, Wisconsin, Purdue and Minnesota in 2005, easily among the top 6 in the conference the past few seasons. That's akin to LSU playing Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Auburn and, say, Arkansas (bowl eligible in 5 of last 6 years, I think)...all in the same season.

That's tough, though that non-conf schedule (N Iowa, Iowa St, Ball St.) is a soft as a pillow.
  5. CBS had UGA #1 in this poll last year.

    Turned out well, didnt it?
  6. Well.. the starters varied throughout the year.. and its not cool to advertise in here man.. take that macmini crap off...
  7. lets just win....
fly under the radar and win... a la 2003... :geauxtige
  8. Tennessee #3!

I listened to "Vol Calls" Monday night out of Knoxville (the best non-political crackpots on earth, or as Vandy fans say rednecks turn orange in the fall) for kicks. They're talking about running Gerald Riggs, Jr. 30 times a game! Behind that offensive line? Or is it so much for the passing game? Shaffer going to become a cornerback?
